Checkout Counter: Fear My Thoughts

These guys have been rising in popularity and critical reviews for some time now. They hail from Germany with their first release dating back to 1999. There’s also been some debate as to what they play. While it’s agreed upon that Fear My Thoughts have played melodic metalcore at some point in their career (most likely the midpoint) I’ve heard that they started with much more hardcore roots, but some people consider them to be melodic death metal now instead of melodic metalcore.

The reviews I’ve read for recently released album “Volcanus” have been better than the album previous to it “Hell Sweet Hell”.
