Band Feature: InSomnius Dei

Coming from Australia, this band play what’s described as an ambient/experimental doom/death band. It’s a fitting description, the music is often slow, sparse and melodic. The vocals on top are typically of the harsh variety with other styles (I heard some spoken word through distortion, and female vocals). Pretty compelling. They put out an album this year through None titled “Illusions Of Silence”, and recently signed to Firedoom Music, a sub-label of Firebox.
