Checkout Counter - Blessed By A Broken Heart

I saw that Century Media signed Blessed By A Broken Heart and thought they had signed an emo/screamo band. When I heard the songs on their MySpace page, I was completely surprised to hear a lot of glam and hard rock from the early 80's, especially a Van Halen influence. A few songs feature a keyboard with an early 80's darker synth sound. The vocals are mixed between harsher screams and growls, and some clean singing inspired by the era, and even a bit of emo vocals at times.

The concept sounds corny, but the results sound insanely fun. Best of luck to Blessed By A Broken Heart, they could turn out to be one of Century Media’s bigger bands.
