Darkest hour, Misery Signals, From A Second Story Window, Versus The Mirror Tour
Both lambgoat.com and smnnews.com are giving out dates for this tour. My personal favourites are Darkest Hour and From A Second Story Window. Misery Signals is pretty decent as well.
From A Second Story Window is supposed to release a full length sometime soon. I have their debut EP titled “Not One Word has Been Omitted”. I would describe the sound as a mix of death, grind, hardcore with a dash of lighter emo moments every now and then. The vocals have a high rasp most of the time, quite black metal sounding, with the odd death growl. Even though there are five songs on the EP, it’s a half hour long, so you do get a decent amount of playing time.
The reviews I’ve heard about Versus The Mirror so far describe them essentially as screamo with only screaming (who’d guess that screamo would meaning screaming). The mp3 I’ve heard from them sounds exactly like that. Unfortunately, the rest of the music sounded fairly generic. Of course I did only hear the one mp3...
