Something we try to maintain here at Nile River are an open mind and a focus on mostly underground extreme music. Doom and it’s subgenres don’t always get proper representation here because the news from those bands doesn’t always come our way. Doom-Metal.com does get news for doom bands, they also provide some articles as well, and they have a comprehensive list of many bands found within the genre similar to the collection of band listings that the BNR Metal Pages, Tartarean Desire and the Metal Archives do.
